In 1999 Rebellion developed Aliens Vs Predator for the PC which when released went onto to become a cult hit with its exciting story and action packed multiplayer. Two years later a sequel; this time developed by Monolith was released, however it failed to live up to its predecessor. Now 10 years later Rebellion has returned with a new Aliens Vs Predator game. However it again fails to live up to its promise.

In 2007 2K studios released Bioshock, the spiritual successor to the System Shock franchise and while some criticised it for being too similar to System Shock 2 the game was a landmark title for this console generation, sadly Bioshock 2 cannot reach the heights of its predecessor and adds very little to the franchise feeling both familiar and slightly dated. Mediocrity embodied in jpeg formatKwon Boa is a manufactured pop star with a mediocre voice.  The Korean does not have a unique voice, nor does she have a great producer to build up stompin’ beats to mask such vocal deficiencies.  Nevertheless, BoA released her first Japanese album in two years on February 10, 2010.  The vast majority entirety of her last few albums have been horrendous, best left forgotten in your collection of foreign music that you keep to show people on the internet how cultured you are. Kumi Koda's Universe CoverIf you follow the J-pop at all (which you don’t), you are aware of Kumi Koda’s new album titled Universe, which was packaged together with her fifth compilation album and a DVD.  The album was released in Japan on February 3rd 2010, selling 221,887 copies in the first week, according to the Oricon charts.  The album is Kumi Koda’s eighth studio album, and a great one at that.  Splicing her usual R&B and pop sounds with some rock over tones, Universe is a decent experience – even if the remixes are better.  More after the jump.
